My name is George Bridger and I’m the founder and owner of Tru Mi Eyes (Pty) Ltd. I am a wedding and portrait photographer, based in the South of Johannesburg and have a passion for photography. I never thought of myself as a photographer, but I would always find myself taking photos of friends and family. From the time my children were born, I would capture every special moment and every now and then just relive that moment by looking at the photos. I realised the importance of a good quality photo and how it can tell a story. Taking photos just came naturally when there’s a family gathering or a function and I soon discovered that I had a talent and wanted to explore it further.

I bought my first camera, when I decided to study photography. I learned as much as I could and would come home and practise for hours…

 So, what makes me different?  I believe that I have a skill to capture that perfect moment and can take photography to a different level. My passion is what drives me and I can take photos all day long. I have a natural ability just to connect with people and make them feel at ease in front of the camera. I believe that with my patience and endurance together with my skills and knowledge acquired, I can capture a great picture even if you are not photogenic or in poor weather conditions. I love meeting different people and through my work, I hope to make an impact in the world of photography.
